I absolutely understand how you feel! I was waitlisted at Harvard last week. It’s a difficult position to be in because it means your application is very strong but covid has impacted how many students they can accept. I asked about the waitlist in a very polite and friendly email and emphasised that I understand that it may be privileged information. They got back to me straightaway and said they can’t tell me anything but at least I sent the email and asked to put my mind at ease. good luck for the other schools!

Hey guys has anyone else applied to Princeton? Just realised no one has mentioned it on here unless I overlooked the post. I thought maybe Yale would come out this week but I saw someone got an interview last week so maybe not? Good luck everyone and remember that no matter how many times you refresh your emails, it won’t make the email come faster...

Hi! That was me with the waitlist. I realised the email wasn’t from an administrator but rather the DGS. The email said that only 6 people were offered a spot and congratulated me on the waitlist spot...not sure how I feel about it. I’ve also applied to Oxbridge. I have a spot at Cambridge but yet to hear about funding. I have a feeling Yale Princeton and Harvard will release results next week...

Do you guys think people will be more or less inclined to apply to PhD programs this year? I feel like not a lot of people have been posting on here in comparison to previous years. Also, I wonder if lots of programs cancelling admissions means people will hold off and wait for next year...
