For those who have received an offer but have not secured funding (particularly for year 1), what are you going to do? Part-time job, loans, look for external funding? Interested to hear perspectives. Seems like years 2-4 are easier to find funding, so I am more focused on that first year.
I reached out to Syracuse to inquire about my application (I still hadn't heard anything) and they responded saying that if I haven't heard anything, I was still being considered. Has anyone interviewed for Syracuse yet?
Based on past years, it seems like people were receiving interview invites for Lehigh the first Friday of January. Assuming they didn't want to send anything out on New Year's day, I am thinking we will hear back from them tomorrow, if they are on schedule.
How sure are you that Syracuse sent out formal invites? Because last year they waited until mid January and no one has posted results from Syracuse yet this year in the results section.
Does anyone know if a program sends out interview invites all at once to those that receive them? If I didn't get an invite the day that other people on here are getting them, its safe to say that I am not getting one?
I was just contacted by my POI reaffirming that he will be recommending me for a formal interview, but that formal decisions got pushed back until the week of Dec 20
I see on the results page that someone received a formal interview invite from Michigan State yesterday. I was wondering if that person could share who their POI is.. I was told by my POI to "pencil in" the interview date last week as the POI was going to recommend me to the department for an interview invite, but I am slightly concerned that I didn't receive a formal invite yesterday.
