Hi all!
I was wondering if anyone could speak to the admissions process at Hunter. It is currently my top choice, but I have yet to find out any information on acceptance rates or what they look for outside of the "courses in art history and have maintained a minimum grade point average of 3.5 in those courses, with a minimum 3.0 index overall."
By the time of my application, I will have a cumulative 3.5 with a 3.6-3.7 range in my major courses (classics/art history) from a top 20 university, archaeological field experience, internship at the state museum, research experience and decent recs. Is this a good range for getting into the program? I am just very nervous cause I have had minimal information regarding admissions for Hunter. I am hoping to focus on ancient art there, specifically looking at one of the professors who specializes in Egypt that they have. I am also drawn to the access to the top museums just by being in NYC.
Thanks everyone!
