Virginia Tech! Best wishes to everyone here now, and especially to all those of you curiously peeking in from the future.

Just got the UNC rejection. Looks like 9 rejections out of 10 this year... but that's okay! Looks like I'll be going to Virginia Tech, couldn't be happier!

To add to this, make sure to tell schools you will not be attending. It's super exciting to accept and you'll feel really motivated to do it but make sure to be motivated to let the other schools know your decision so the process can move along for others.

Anyone know anything about what's going on with UCLA? Got an acceptance from Virginia Tech and really want to accept, just waiting to hear back from UCLA before I do. P.S. Was not invited for an interview. Have heard nothing since Dec. 1

Just got an invite to round two of VT interviews.

Anybody know if any invites will be going out this week? Or have the holiday breaks began for most admissions committees?

So just to summarize so far. Anyone get an interview invite yet? If so from which school(s)? I've got 1 from Virginia Techs Neuro program so far, haven't heard from the other 9 schools.

Ah I see, I'm most interested in the Clinton lab and the Hodes lab for the work they do on mood disorders. Actually got an invite to interview with them yesterday!

Which university are you referring to?

Yale, UCLA, UPenn, Emory, CU Boulder, UMich Ann Arbor, UNC Chapel Hill, UMN Twin Cities, Virginia Tech, and Michigan State all for neuroscience or biology program with neuroscience focus. I want to understand the cellular mechanisms of mood disorders. Good luck everybody, hoping for the best this year!
