They reached out wondering if I would attend on the 4th. I think this happened because I am a competitive candidate. Copied from some of the email, "Because of the high demand for our program, the number of qualified applicants far exceeds the number of positions we will have available for entering students. We realize that talented students such as you may be accepted for graduate study by more than one institution, and that selecting a graduate program can be a very exciting, but complicated decision..." Letters of official acceptance for NIU should come out this week or next, so i'll keep my fingers crossed for you!
Anyone else apply to Rush? I looked at the results from the past years and it seems like if you got an invite to the supplementary application then in a few weeks you'll hear back?
2020: invite to supplementary: 1/15 acceptance letter 1/29
2019: invite to supplementary: 2/4 acceptance letter 2/15
2018: invite to supplementary: 1/29 acceptance letter 2/12
2017: invite to supplementary: 2/8 acceptance letter 2/22
2016: invite to supplementary: 2/5 acceptance letter 2/16
2015: invite to supplementary: 2/11 acceptance letter 2/23
I applied to Nebraska and WashU too, nothing yet. I think WashU's applications are open until February 15th, so I'm assuming they won't release admissions until March.
Have you heard from any of the Illinois programs? From what I read on last years posts, the first week in February NIU sent their acceptance letters. *Fingers crossed*
Hello fellow AuDs!! This is a very exciting time for us, but also filled with anxiety (or maybe that’s just me). I’m applying to Rush, Minnesota, Northern Illinois, KU, Boulder Colorado, Lincoln Nebraska, and WUSTL! My applications and letters of rec are all sent out! I crept to last years posts and it sounds like some students hear from programs in JANUARY!! Ahh!!
