Unfortunately that posting was from me and it is, indeed, real. Got an email to check the portal at 10:15 last night, where status had been updated to 'denied'. 'Twas a day of rejections from Texas lol. Good luck to the rest of you who are still hanging on.

Update re Purdue: they said they'll be making application decisions through April 15th...

They're running SO behind. Hope they're alright over there haha

I just emailed Purdue to see what their eta is. Just can't handle this waiting anymore lol. Will update with the response!

I still have eleven schools to hear from but I’m kind of in the same boat. I actually got a reassuring note from a lit mag I submitted one of my application stories to (they liked it and wanted to see more of my work), but the levels of imposter syndrome are pretty high for me right now. Would def be down for something like this - the more eyes on these things the better!

Out of reactions for the day. Hang in there ya'll! Things will work out regardless of how these applications turn out. I'm rooting for everyone on here

It’s been up and down for me. I just decided to apply to a couple residencies for the summer, though, and that seems to have gotten me in to gear! I think it’s normal either way

It was also on Draft which I think decreases the chance it's a fake, but it's also really early for Vanderbilt to be notifying. Like, based on the data I collected they usually don't start until the beginning of March...
