Just received a response: "Thanks very much for your email. My understanding is that all applicants who were selected to interview have been contacted at this point. The Graduate School will send official notices in the Spring. "

Anyone international heard from Harvard Virology or Yale Microbiology track? I emailed the Harvard coordinator if they were done sending out invites for Virology (since I saw a few in the results section), but I haven't received a response yet.

I feel like all of them are either domestic students or international students who are currently studying in the US.

For individuals who have received interviews for Harvard's Virology program, can you describe your stats/experiences? I would like to know what I should improve on if I don't receive an invite lol

I applied to Harvard Virology and Yale Micro too!! I haven't heard back yet... I wonder why Harvard's Virology and Yale's Micro programs are taking longer than usual to review applicants this year. I heard from a prof at Harvard that it was going to be a 'very competitive this year'. At the time, I thought I'd still be competitive but I don't know now if they're taking THIS long... I only applied to four schools (1. Harvard Virology DMS, 2. Yale Microbiology track BBS, 3. Stanford Genetics, and 4. UC Berkeley Infectious Diseases and Immunity) because I was looking for really specific programs... Now I'm starting to regret not applying to more. It's going to be pretty depressing if I don't receive any interviews.
