Does this thread glitch for yall too?

idk about other people, but I'll just keep being a lab manager for another year and hope I can push out more pubs I guess. I was unlucky this year bc both of my conference presentations were full-on canceled. And i've only been doing full time research for two years, so I only have 1 pub.

we're just gonna hope bc I'm skresst rn. Legitimately starting to think I might not get in anywhere this cycle :[

Woah! Nice stats!!! I reached out to three faculty members, and only one responded. She was very sweet though.

Ugh I hate it here lmao, I just wish I could hear some good news. So far only 2 of 9 of my programs have “started” sending out invites. I sure hope some of these schools do multiple waves of invites

I’m still shook about harvard... I went to that last info session and the dean of admissions told me that they’d send out interview invites around Jan 11th or so

I’m starting to think that maybe applying to 8 reach schools was a bad idea ???. My gpa is ~3.5, I did two years of research in undergrad, and I’ve been a lab manager for two years at an R1. I have one poster presentation, one middle-author publication, strong LORs, and a decent SOP (I believe), so I’m thinking my gpa might be holding me back. I haven’t heard back at all yet, though and it’s driving me nuts!

Seeing people get interview invites to programs I applied to when my inbox is dry makes me feel like crap lol
