Has anyone accepted at ECU?

Thank you all for your advice/help! I was thinking it would be unethical, but I just wanted to check in with others to see if you had heard anything different. And yes, I'm pretty sure you can get offers after April 15th if people wait till the last few days to decline. The specific school I am hoping to go to states on their website that final admission decisions are often not settled until the end of April. Thanks, and good luck to everyone!

Hey everyone! I have a random question and am wondering if anyone else is in a similar situation and could offer some clarification/guidance. I was accepted to one program that I liked but waitlisted at my top program. I checked with the program director and I am still on the waitlist. I am wondering if I accept the offer I received, and then I am later accepted off the waitlist at my top school (after the April 15th deadline), is it unethical to back out on the acceptance? Of course, I am not sure if this would even happen, but I am just wondering if anyone has heard anything from mentors/current students about this as I am sure a lot of people will receive offers after April 15th.

So, I didn't apply to UNCO. But, I received an acceptance letter from a program director at a different school saying something similar and then it took over a month for me to receive my official acceptance from the graduate school. I think it's pretty common for there to be a delay between the program admitting you and the graduate school officially accepting you.

Hi everyone! Has anyone on here been accepted to NCSU or waitlisted? I was waitlisted and they are one of my top choices. I'm just trying to decide if I should accept another offer or wait to hear back from them. Thanks!

Hi! I interviewed with them last Friday for the PhD program and there were master’s applicants there too. I have not heard back about an admissions decision though since the interview.

Also, sorry to quote you again, but where is the interview invite list posted?

I emailed one of the professors to ask where they were in the review process and she said they would be sending invites in the next few days! So I don't think anyone has heard yet. I was nervous too because their website says they will reach out in the first two weeks of January so I guess they were just a bit delayed.

Same! I am so confused why we were invited to the tour if we weren’t being considered for interviews.

I also have not heard anything from NC State!

I think there will be a student panel so I was going to prepare a few questions for students/faculty just in case there is time for questions.

Hi! Thanks so much for your response! I also received the invite for the virtual visit. That is true that their final deadline isn't until February 9th, so that could be why! I am wondering if they will interview people who met the priority deadline first. Thanks again!!
