Those who admitted, congrats!! And can you share your field of research? Thanks!!

I had an interview earlier and the Professor didn't tell me anything about the admission process (I wonder if that's a good sign or bad). Does this apply to the entire EECS department or just the lab/group you interviewing with?

I heard back from one professor whose work I really like from MIT and he wants to schedule an interview with me. I saw a past post that MIT only interviews borderline applicants. Does anyone know if it is still true? Oh my god I'm so anxious, nervous, arghh... Now I'm afraid if I mess up the interview my chance is going to be 0 afterwards.
