  1. Finally got notified that I've been accepted at Cal Poly SLO. No word on funding though.
  2. Georgia Tech folks - spoke with a current student yesterday and they said they received their funding letter a week after receiving their official admission letter. So we should get clarity about funding soon.
  3. I guess it’s standard for this process but I find it unfair that some of these schools aren’t giving us at least a full month to assess our options and make a decision.
  4. I'm planning to visit Atlanta for Ga Tech. I would like to visit Ithaca for Cornell but It's super expensive/difficult to get there so I don't think I'll make it.
  5. Hey @yellowsurf, have you recieved any updates from Cal Poly SLO? I have not received a decision yet and it seems no one but you has posted results for them.
  6. For my fellow Georgia Tech admits - are you expecting to receive an update on funding this week or further down the line once they've processed our official documents? I also noticed they extended their application deadline to March 15th so I'm worried that may delay funding decisions.
  7. In at Georgia Tech via email! No mention of funding.
  8. Cant get over this thread having over 44k views relative to last year's only having 19k lol
  9. Out at NYU. Knew it would be an uphill climb to overcome the low GPA.
  10. Thank you for your help and insight. Do you have any advice on asking for additional funding? Should we contact the department or the financial aid office?
  11. I did not apply to either of those programs, but my old Planning Director in CA was a SJSU grad and she always spoke highly of the program(and of her lack of debt lol). I also think CPP is really solid and you're right, LA metro planning orgs are full of their grads. I met their professor Richard Wilson at an APA event once and he seemed really cool, too.
  12. Rooting for all of you Berkeley applicants. I was not brave enough to apply haha
  13. Are any of you planning to try and visit any of these schools before making a decision? Obviously COVID makes that a lot more complicated
  14. Checked the portal for Oregon and it's a rejection. No email yet.
  15. Anything over 40K for a Master's Program I would have to think really hard about.
  16. How is everyone handling this wait lol? Seems like we should start to hear back from a few programs in mid to late February.
