Any news (Research Grant - Doctoral Programmes in Germany)...this platform is too quiet

I asked DAAD representatives before applying (Research Grant - Doctoral Programme in Germany), the response was; application reference was not necessary due to COVID-19 pandemic - same was stated on the website for Nigeria applicants. However, I wish to hear from applicants from Sub-Saharan Africa because my application status is still "application submitted" . I was messaged that all applicants will soon be informed of the selection outcomes when I asked why the outcome is not yet out as promised (three weeks after selection committee meeting - 28/29 January).

I guess your application documents are complete... did you submit paper application for status to change to "paper copies received" because I didn't submit any paper copies... my status is still "application submitted". However, DAAD representative sent me a message that my application documents are complete, that selection committee will review my application on the 28/29 January, 2021 and the outcome will be communicated approximately three weeks later.

I applied for Research Grant - Doctoral Programme but I'm yet to be interviewed nor have a change in the application status. Any update for Africa applicants.
