I just got an email invite about 5 minutes ago. So maybe they are still sending them out?

If you receive an acceptance, are you usually given a deadline for confirming or denying admission? I have some interviews in late Feb so I’m just wondering what would happen if a school gave me an acceptance in January but I hadn’t interviewed at all my programs yet.

How many interview invites would you feel “safe” at? I know that there are a lot of factors to consider (research fit, lab fit, etc.), but I’m just wondering at what number of interview invites everyone else would feel like they had a good chance of getting at least one acceptance.
