Does anyone know much about BU Painting? I’m considering accepting their offer since they offered significantly increased amount of scholarship after I asked for more. Any information and thoughts would be appreciated! Thanks

I agree. A lot of people decide not to attend because of their tuition and I will probably turn down their offer as well

No, Yale was my top choice. But I got rejected from them as well lol

I got Boston University Painting acceptance about an hour ago! I got 35% of tuition waived on top of the half of tuition waived for mfa students

Thank you! I got it in mail last week and got an email from them a couple of days ago. I think they call accepted students. The department chair emailed me that he tried calling me.

I got accepted but nothing regarding financial aid yet.

I got an email that they are experiencing some delays and that I should hear from them in the next few weeks!

Does anyone know what Bard MFA interviews are like? Do I need to show them new works? They didn't give much info on the interview when they sent the interview invite.

Thank you! I spoke with Jaya, Marc, and two students from the mfa painting program. It was almost like a critique. And they gave me a plenty of time to ask questions at the end of the interview

I had an interview for BU Painting last week but haven't heard from them yet about the final decision. Has anyone received financial aid package from SAIC Painting yet? I'm accepted but haven't received any information regarding financial package.

I have a close friend who got her MFA at SAIC. She has been helping me with the application process and her advice to me was to go to a school that gives me a full ride. Or at least pays most of my tuition. If I were in your position, I would probably go to UIC but it's just me. I have a few friends who went to UIC as well and they said it was a good experience.

I have. I don't think it's a big deal as long as you don't reschedule more than once.

They emailed me that an update has been posted to my application status page. I'm currently out of the country, so I'm not sure if it's how they contact everyone who pass the first round. I hope this helps!
