no update yet. but last year they sent acceptances first and then rejections and deferrals so i'm not feeling hopeful ?

@onvrrayeah right! where else did you apply/get in? i knew i wanted to take a year off so i deferred my second choice and knew i would reapply. i just hope that this year they don't bother with waitlisting me again - that would be cruel lol

i'm so happy you started this thread - i was also surprised no one had posted anything about SPIA this year! this is my second time applying to the MPA - i was waitlisted last year ? i'm guessing they'll release the emails thursday/friday.. let's see! good luck everyone :)

Is anyone thinking of re-applying? The email they sent sounds like re-applicants have a pretty good shot. I've deferred my admission for this year anyway, so I'm strongly considering it.

Also waiting! In the first email they sent they said it could be up till May 15, so I'm guessing won't hear back this week. I emailed them a few days ago to ask about updates on timelines and haven't heard back :/. I need to accept an offer somewhere else but have been waiting till the last minute..
