Hi all, my parent has worked a blue collar job at an ivy league university for 20+ years. I applied to a graduate program at this university, and it is highly competitive (I believe a 15% acceptance rate). My stats aren't fantastic, but I was accepted to another competitive program with generous aid, so I'm feeling I might have a shot. Any idea if your parent working at a university is taken into consideration by the admissions team? I mentioned this in the documents I submitted.
