They stated in the application page that applicants will receive feedback at the beginning of April. 

 

I also saw a place where someone said they have sent out their acceptances. I have no idea what to believe

Hi, I'm on Tufts wait-list although not in your area of specialization. I reached out to the DGS a few days ago and she didn't sound very hopeful. She used the words "very unlikely". So, if it will convenient, please let it go a little earlier. Thank you.

I would reach out to Tufts, explain your situation and make sure they're aware that they're your top choice. You might also ask them if there's anything you can do to support your candidacy while on the waitlist. Some programs will accept supplemental materials that could help you get off the waitlist.

Selfishly, I hope you end up at Tufts in the Fall! I'm also starting a PhD there in the Fall (in the Econ dept). Best of luck!

Anyone declining Tufts? I was placed on their wait list. I know it is an incredibly small program.

Hi,

I'm an international student, I received fully funded PhD offers to the English program at Miami University Ohio and Louisiana State University. I am however on a wait list in Tufts University and the deadline is gradually creeping in. I do not want to miss either of these opportunities while waiting for Tufts, and I'll also feel bad if I accept either of them and Tufts comes in positive later. How do I go about this? Getting a visa to the US from Nigeria is not a walk in the park and a senseless delay could impede on the entire process. If you were me, what would you do?
