Hmm. Mine doesn’t say any of that anywhere on the application portal. I just see the standard “Welcome...!” with my reference number and then bullet points about application processing and status/checklist, etc. Am I looking at the same page?

    same here

Hi everyone, another ELOE applicant here. I've been lurking in this thread for a while LOL
Since this is the only program I applied for this year, it's literally an "all or nothing" situation to me.
I've been super anxious since last week...

Here are some thoughts that may be helpful to relieve our anxiety a bit:
We are being anxious because we did put a lot of efforts into the application. There are always a percentage of people who make only perfunctory efforts and hope to get lucky (especially GRE is not required this year). They probably don't care about the outcome as much as we do. At least, we've already surpassed them.
In addition, most of those who shared their stats on this forum (including this thread and threads of previous years) are applicants who hold a certain degree of confidence in their backgrounds, otherwise they would not be willing to share in public. Therefore, we have a feeling that all applicants are competitive as the applicants who shared their backgrounds are mostly at an above-average level.

ELOE applicant here too, this is also the only university which I applied.

Yes, I applied to "Global, International, and Comparative Education"! I'm an international student so this seemed the most appropriate for me vis a vis the program - specifically, seeing how to design equitable educational experiences in developing countries. I can only guess that's how I'll marry the program with the concentration though. I wish they already had a clearer program/course outline at the time of application!

I don't know for sure but they could've left it intentionally vague to identify candidates whose educational goals align with their course values.

    Hello everyone,

I am a graduate of the EPM program class of 2016. I have recently started a YouTube channel where I discuss my experience with the graduate school admissions process at HGSE. I have produced videos of my application stats, general application advice, and have shared my statement of purpose alongside a statement of purpose from one of my colleagues in the human development and psychology program. Feel free to subscribe to channel as I plan to produce more HGSE-related videos title: How to fund an HGSE education, Is an HGSE education worth the price tag, and more! Feel free to also ask me questions via the comments on the videos I produce. I look forward to helping you with the admissions process!

Thank you Ivan for your Youtube channel. It was extremely helpful. I want to ask if you have any idea how HGSE review military veteran applications? Does Veteran with professional experience in education(  School manager) stands a good chance? Thank you for your insight.

Guys, in addition to my previous post and comments, just curious that do you believe that the Ed.M programs at HGSE really have an average acceptance rate of 50%+? It seems pretty odd to me, but a lot of people including several HGSE alums that I know, people online, as well as Peterson all mentioned that HGSE Ed.M has an average acceptance rate of 50%+. However, even if it is true, I understand it is going to be varied depending on different specific programs. Thanks for your clarification!

Curious about this too, it seems pretty high compared to other universities.
