My department application is in the “Submitted” stage. I have communicated with my advisor and department previously, though. So I think that is a formality. I hope this answers y’all’s questions! Happy to provide any additional information.

From Biological Sciences - just got the preliminary offer email this morning (US time)! Edit/Update: My application status is still “Submitted” lol so apparently that’s not necessarily indicative of scholarship status
