Was just about to say this! Someone please email them, I sent an email last week and got the same "Mid-late March" timeline that someone had posted earlier in this forum. Maybe if someone sends an email now we can get a more narrow timeline, potentially even an exact date.

Has anyone heard from Munk or followed up with them recently? Was hoping to have some clarity on the status of my application by now. I know someone a few weeks ago mentioned they said they are hoping to send offers mid-late March, but was wondering if anyone has contacted them since and received a more specific timeline.

For sure: Education: Honours Specialization in Political Science, graduating in April 2021. cGPA is just over a 3.3, L2 is 3.85. Work experience: Worked in regional government for three consecutive summers, started off in administrative roles but worked as a research/policy intern in the summer of 2020. EC's: Senior editor for an undergraduate political science journal, was also a writer for an undergraduate international relations journal. References: Honestly, I was worried about my references because they were two profs who had taught me in 2-3 classes before, but I never built a strong personal relationship with them by any means. This was definitely the most stressful part of my application. I also had one professional reference from an executive staff member at the regional government I worked for, which I was really happy with. Applied to Queens MPA, York MPPAL, Munk MPP and Carleton MPPA. Accepted into Queens and York and waiting to hear back from Munk and Carleton. Best of luck to all!

Haha can't offer any advice because i'm guilty of the same thing. Between this forum and the application portals, I feel like i'm refreshing something every hour. It doesn't look like we'll be hearing back this week, hoping for some news next week! Although looking at threads from previous years, Munk usually sends decisions within the first two weeks of March, so i'm not expecting to hear from them yet. Unless their MPP decision committee follows the MGA decision committee in sending decisions earlier this year, given one of the individuals on this forum said he received an acceptance for the MGA program.

Me too! Congrats on the person who got into Munk I was not expecting them to be sending offers so early, given they’re usually one of the last schools to send according to previous grad cafe threads. I’ve applied to Munk, Queens, York and Carleton; but have only heard back from York. Good luck to all and if anyone else hears back from Munk, please post it on the thread!

Has anyone applied to York's MPPAL? There seems to be minimal information about the program on this thread & threads from the previous years, so was wondering if anyone has any thoughts on it.

A bit strange to include the 0.4 in your L2 GPA, but do you nonetheless.
