Howdy everyone, Questions in the vicinity have been asked but can anyone speak to the (pre-pandemic) diy/music scenes in Madison? I've heard that there was a somewhat active punk scene --- is that your impression ? Are there any folks/collectives supporting experimental music & other arts? Do people organize raves? I figure there's a lot of young people, but I don't really know the culture of the town. I'm very strongly considering an offer and I've heard really nice things, but I'm coming from Portland Oregon and I am a little worried about building community and making friends.
