  1. I could see the second round reviews on the portal today morning. Received acceptance email at 1:15 ET. For what it's worth, I would urge those who did not make it to reapply, especially if this was your first attempt. I was heartbroken when I got rejected last time, but apparently getting the grant in your first attempt is rather unusual and WG prefers repeat applicants.
  2. Just checked -- my status also says 'approved' now, whereas when I checked earlier today the status was 'submitted'. And I see a bunch of forms to be filled as well. This last edit is dated Oct 7 5 pm ET, to be precise.
  3. My last edit is Oct 6 morning. I'm pretty sure we'll hear tomorrow
  4. I think (hope) we should hear some time this week
  5. Same here.
  6. Yeah, same here. My PI clarified that this means I got it and the rest is just formality. All the best to those waiting.
  7. @BoozyBaguette I got an email about an hour ago as well but it doesn't seem to be unambiguous enough for me take it as an acceptance. It only says "We have had the opportunity to read the proposal and the reviewer and panel comments and recommendations and would like to consider the proposal for a DDRIG award." And then asks for a bunch of things, including 'An Addendum addressing Reviewer Concerns'. Does your email say the same? '
  8. No news here and I don't seem to have a 'Last Updated' column either
  9. That's the part I don't understand. How can they reject some applications before the review?
  10. Haha same situation here and haven't got much hope for this now. Two of my cohort-mates received rejections yesterday (via their PIs) and their Fastlane status in now 'Declined'. No change on the portal for me, however
  11. Same! I'm guessing from the feedback that the score distribution among the reviewers was 2, 2 and 4
  12. Exact same situation here...
  13. Update: Last edited 2 hours ago. I suppose these are the final edits before the decisions are released. Fingers crossed we all hear good news very soon!
  14. In 2020 and 2019 the results were released on April 8th. That doesn't guarantee anything for this year, but I'm hoping for tomorrow.
  15. Last edited March 30th.
  16. I agree. Their COVID consideration really throws everything off. By the way, does anyone know the dates for the NSF review panels? I'm assuming there's some overlap between the applicants for the two grants.
  17. We'll know by April 16 for sure (two weeks before the May 1st deadline). But yeah, the wait is killing me...
  18. I don't think there's any connection between the two. Your proposal in Stage 2 will be evaluated afresh by 3 external reviewers who had nothing to do with Stage 1. So whoever has moved to Stage 2 is positioned equally and everyone is starting again from a blank slate.
  19. On the application page, click on 'View' on extreme right, then on the 'Reviews' tab, and finally on the strange symbol next to 'Reviewer'
  20. Received email informing that I've made it to Stage 2 at 8:22 ET. I can also see one review on the portal
  21. Same here, actually. My 'Last Edited' just changed from Feb 10th to Feb 20th.
  22. Yes! Hoping we hear something before the weekend.
  23. No email yet but on the portal it now shows the 'Last Edited' date as Feb 10th
  24. Nope. Going by previous years, I think we should hear from them some time next week.
  25. The exact numbers will become clearer once the rejections are released, but right now receiving request for transcript only means we're past the first round. If previous years are anything to go by, around 250 applicants make it to the second round and of those only 60-70 are eventually selected.
