  1. Just declined CUNY, hope it can help someone. I am also waiting to see if Harvard has any waitlist news, but I think it might be a lost cause.
  2. Thank you! Im hoping, but in any case, Im also really happy with American. Lets see what happens. I send you my best wishes as well!
  3. Hi! I will likely be declining CUNY within the next week. My offer had funding, so I hope it can be of help to someone else. My field was IR.
  4. Hi everyone! Claiming CUNY acceptance
  5. Oh! Thank you. Here is to hoping they send results out soon then
  6. Hi everyone! Just to check, has Yale already released results? I saw some, but they seem to be American Politics. Has anyone heard anything else?
  7. Thank you. Thats what I was thinking. I will ask to see if they offer additional funding, but that is the stipend with 20 hours a week of work. Due to some health/disability issues, I would also need to be fairly close to campus. I might need to seriously consider if it is viable
  8. Hi everyone - Im not sure if this is the place to ask, but if its okay, I was hoping to ask any American students if 25k is enough to survive in DC? Im not a person with any real financial resources, so will be dependent on the PhD stipend to survive. Im a bit nervous and cant really accept if I wont be able to maintain myself
  9. It is! I think the government department hasn't released any decisions yet
  10. Best wishes to everyone! I know this is incredibly stressful. I really hope we get news from Colorado Boulder and Yale soon
  11. By email yesterday from the director of the PhD program
  12. Also, claiming American University acceptance (IR)
  13. Wondering the same thing ?
  14. Hi! Best of luck with the waitlist! About Georgetown, please dont worry. The only reason I have it as an assumed rejection is because I really really didnt do well on the interview. I emphasized a policy approach waaay to much, and dont think it went well at all. But I really hope your interview went great and you hear back with wonderful news.
  15. Thank you so much for this answer! I really really appreciate it. I really hope I get a chance - In all honestly its not so much the program Im interested in, but the three professors I found that are doing my dream work. Its an absolute perfect fit in my view, and I loved reading their work. Thank you again, and I send you my best wishes as well with the application cycle. Stay strong everyone!
  16. Damn, Im so sorry. I hope you are selected to other programs anyway and have a wonderful PhD experience
  17. Thank you! At least now I know. I think the uncertainty is the worst part of this ? Congratulations again! Its a brilliant opportunity
  18. Was about to ask the same thing! Was anyone applying in the IR subfield?
  19. Hi everyone! First of all, congratulations to those accepted! Thats brilliant and Columbia is an absolutely amazing school. I was hoping to ask for some advice - I got waitlisted from Harvard (Public Policy), and while I assume no one really turns down their place there, I dont know if anyone is familiar with how many people are waitlisted? or the chances of acceptance after that? Sorry, its my top school and Im wondering
  20. Claiming UMich rejection
  21. Thank you! Quick question, was it PoliSci or Public Policy? I know Princeton has both and I dont know if they send out results at different times. Just to prepare ?
  22. Congratulations everyone! It's amazing and I'm sure well deserved ?
  23. That's amazing! Congratulations! Did you get an email?
  24. Thank you so much! Thats a relief! Also, congratulations!
  25. Hi! I did - congrats to you as well! I understand how you feel. I didnt think they interviewed, and dont know what to expect. Also, its super short and I suck at public speaking ?. Sending you best of luck!!
