Alright, so not an acceptance! I reached out to Gerri Brightwell (Program Director) and she said that these emails go out when an applicant submits their application and that apparently they do cause a lot of confusion. Gerri also said that they haven't "even made our decisions about applicants yet", so hopefully that helps you breathe a little easier!

Anyone have any word on Oregon State poetry? I've seen that some people were put on the waitlist but I haven't seen any acceptances, maybe due to a hush order? Should I anticipate a rejection?? edit: my portal still says my app is "in review"

I applied to their joint MFA/MA program! Just got a weird email today that said "welcome!" asking me to make a student account/email. It said nothing about an actual acceptance or anything about funding, so I'm really confused. I reached out to the director of the creative writing program to see if they will notify me of admissions through that email? Not really sure at this point, but I'm definitely on edge.
