  1. I've been accepted into Laurier (Advanced standing- Part time online) beginning in May. I heard at the end of January Good luck to you!
  2. The email came with an attached PDF that says: "Congratulations! On behalf of Dalhousie University I am pleased to inform you of your admission to the Full Time Master of Social Work program for the session beginning September 1, 2021. For your information, the Master of Social Work program is per-course fee based. Full time students in this program typically complete in 1 year (2 if thesis). Please confirm by email, to your department, if you will be accepting this offer. Questions concerning your program should also be directed to the Graduate Co-ordinator of your department. Please visit http://dal.ca/gradnextsteps for further information on paying your deposit, as well as other important next steps. If there is pre-requisite work to complete before you begin your graduate program, you will be notified by your department. If you are presently enrolled in a degree program, you must complete your current degree with a minimum B average prior to the start of the new program, and submit your final transcript to the Faculty of Graduate Studies within 90 days of beginning your studies at Dalhousie. It is a condition of your admission that you will not be enrolled in any additional program at Dalhousie, or elsewhere, during the course of the program for which you have been admitted, unless special arrangements have been made and approved. In order that a place in your program may be reserved for you a non-refundable deposit of $200.00, which will be credited towards your fees, is required by Thursday, March 11, 2021. If you decide not to attend this program, or if you have been accepted to another Dalhousie program and choose to decline that offer, please notify your school or department in writing of your decision." I hope this was helpful for you! Also, congrats!!
  3. Interesting, I did not receive the letter in the mail/recommendation, just the official acceptance letter via email. Good luck to you!
  4. I have been accepted into Laurier's MSW beginning in May and Dal's beginning in September. How do I choose? What have you heard? What are some pros and cons to both?
  5. Yes, I received my official letter yesterday via email. The application portal has also updated to say accepted (dalonline.dal. ca). What do you mean you were recommended for admission?
  6. Hi everyone! I was accepted into Laurier's MSW (part-time) program beginning in May 2021 and also Dal's MSW program beginning in September 2021. Has anyone attended either school? What did you like, what did you not like? I'm leaning more towards Laurier, but I'd love to hear your feedback. What would you choose if you were me?
