Thank you for the update. This helps for sure. Please let me know where you ended up going, even if it is UA. Although I may not get off the waitlist, I have learned a lot of things in this admission circle. I hope next time I will prepare a strong application. However, I still have hope that things will work out.

Who knows how waitlist works? Do they rank applicants? Is it possible to boost my chances on the waitlist?

I have been waitlisted at UA. Please wish me luck. Anybody who is considering declining offer at UA, please let the admission committee know ASAP. This is my ONLY option. Thanks.

You have really good chances. You will have a hard time deciding the school to go to. I bet next week you will get decisions from not less than three schools.

I put both. Just ranked all fields. Linguistic, instructional, and cognitive, social.

Really? Are you planning to stay there? I see you have great programs like NAU and Penn State.

Congrats on your acceptances. I applied to six universities. I got five rejections, still waiting to hear from UA.
