I know they sent out acceptances and waitlist emails/letters....sorry. I’m not sure what to say, but I’d suggest emailing the I-O email just for confirmation.

Question....even if my offer of acceptance won’t be guaranteed anymore, should I wait to accept it if I’m waiting for another Uni to let me know if I’ll be off their waitlist or should I just accept the offer in case I miss out on that one too?

Yes. I also asked SJSU to see if they’d start offering acceptances to waitlisted candidates if room opened up, so I’ll see where that leads to.

I haven’t heard of any other news from SJSU, but they should also have sent out acceptance notices so that they can give those applicants enough time to accept/decline since they already notified the waitlisted students. Who knows though, they could be doing a totally different process.

I heard back as well! Congrats~ It seems they are sending out the acceptances so people have more time to inform them whether they’d be interested in attending to make room for waitlisted people.

I would ask, but I feel as though it’d only make me more anxious. Also, there’s nothing that can be done if they don’t want to tell us our “ranks” on the waitlist. I appreciate the advice though.

I don’t know. I think they do have a ranking or sorts, but it changes often so it’s hard to tell. I did get the same email though.

I did email to ask what number in the waitlist I’m at. That would give me a better idea of whether I should hold my hopes up or not. ?

Hi everyone! I just want to let those who’ve applied to SJSU know that I just received an email from them letting me know I’m on the waitlist. I hope others hear good news, if not just a response soon. ☺️

I only applied to SJSU and SFSU and I haven’t heard back from either. I took the chance to apply since they didn’t require the GRE, otherwise I may have continued working or looked into getting a certificate from SHRM instead.

Hi! I have research experience from my undergrad years and a year of HR experience during the gap year I took. I know a friend that got accepted into SDSU and someone in the forums was notified they were on the waitlist. As for SJSU I haven’t heard anything at all and I haven’t read anything from others that suggest otherwise. I hope we all hear from the CSUs next week, though I’ve heard of some not notifying until early April. ?

I’m definitely feeling angsty. Whether I get rejected or accepted, I just want to hear back soon ??.

I’ve also had a one-way interview for SFSU but haven’t heard anything from SJSU yet. I’ve heard of both informing students mid March - early April so we may have to hold out for another week or two.

SDSU has already sent or started sending out letters for people who they’ve accepted. Hopefully you hear back soon if you haven’t already~

Hello! Did anyone that applied to SFSU get a request to go through a one way interview? I also applied to SJSU but I’m assuming nobody has heard anything from them yet. Do let me know if I’m wrong though! ☺️
