Hey! So I went to a bunch of seminars/presentations in the fall for UCLA's MURP program. I suggest starting with emailing the Associate Director of Admissions, Sean Campbell. He's very helpful as well as involved with students in the admissions process. If you want more info about what they said about funding and I guess anything in general from those meetings just PM me! (I think you can do that here? I'm new to the website lol)
Otherwise, I am also accepting at UCLA so I'll see you there in the fall!
In at UCLA! For those wondering about funding I was told in my acceptance email being nominated for their Graduate Opportunity Fellowship. Feel very fortunate. They said they would let me know before March 31st if I end up receiving it.
For UCLA peeps that haven't heard back yet, just talked to someone who also happened to be a volunteer for MURP admissions scoring this year. It seems acceptances and waitlists were all sent out 3/11. If you haven't heard yet, it's most likely a rejection and will be updated later in the portal. Really sad to hear, sorry to the rest of y'all in this same boat ?
Still nothing here for me. I check my email and the status portal multiple times a day now lol. Just turning on notifications for that email and letting whatever happens happens at this point. Sort of blows because I have to make either a uni or career decision for this upcoming month and nothing yet.
Has anyone who applied to UCLA just not received anything? I see people posting about being accepted/waitlisted but no rejections. I haven't received anything and am thinking it may mean I'm going to end up with a rejection. This is the only school I applied to so all my apples are in that basket. My undergrad degree is not completely related, but it led to me becoming interested in energy/environmental sustainability and environmental justice through my extracurriculars.
