New email update just dropped! Mine included "you have successfully submitted a complete application and NO ACTION is required on your part; thank you for your patience and understanding."

I also applied! It's my first and last try. I was woefully unaware of grad school processes during undergrad and came back to school after working, so I age out of the program after this cycle.
Good luck to everyone! Following this thread to get a better handle of timelines and when they actually release results. I just checked my portal today, and it looks like no one has touched my application yet, at least that I can see.
I was just wondering what you mean by aging out of the requirements, do you mean the number of years left in grad school because I'm also a returning grad student and didn't see anything like an age limit, for example I know the Rhoads has an age limit of 25

Is the anonymity email different than the missing references email? If so, I don’t think I received it…
Yes they were different emails but it seems like they often send these emails out manually so you may have just not received it yet

I also got both emails but my application doesn't display any activity since it was moved to subject panel review right after I submitted it.

I didn't see a thread so I decided to start one! Did anyone else apply this year? This is my first and only time applying. I applied for ONR geosciences.
hey @fellowshipstressI applied this year for biosciences. I was one of the unfortunate applicants from last cycle who was likely immediately disqualified because my recommenders used my name. Hopefully better luck next time and good luck to you!

I also got this today, I started sweating and probably went pale when I read that generic feedback and thought it was all about me.
If Ford and GRFP can send out the reviewers' comments to all 20k of their applicants I don't see why neither DOD contractor can handle it.

Patiently awaiting Sweden's decisions to be released, I suppose at this point no news is good news.
Friends of mine in Sweden say the political/cultural situation there is currently not well, with many people in the government advising the population to prepare for war.. which is a level of "freak-out" that is very not typical for Swedes and especially their politicians.

Just received 3 rejection emails from NDSEG. They are really trying to rub salt in the wound.
You got all the rejections meant for all the physics applicants haa

Well at least I can stop wondering now. I just wish they were normal and gave feedback.

This is my thought exactly. I think I might had just applied to a field that didn't had any project/funding, which is why the application got ghosted entirely as the subject matter experts probably didn't even review it.
I don't think whether or not your BAA has any "projects" matter. I had accidentally reached out to the person in charge of the program I applied to and they liked my weird wacky niche proposal and indicated it could win funding, unfortunately the subject matter panel didn't feel the same way.

I also haven't heard anything back... and never received the DoD panel update. Applied ARO Life Sciences/Genetics. I guess there's always next year ?
I also applied to life sciences/genetics. The person who runs the program is an insect geneticist and I was really hoping my application was going to make it to her for review. oh well.

@cellbiogal are you saying that even if I only had a Jan 31 update I may still be in the running?

Honorable mention for the second year in a row, womp womp

I have the same as this. I guess this either means it hasn't been forwarded, or there hasn't been a decision yet. Who knows...
ugghh damn, if it was only me I still had hope to hold on to.. Good luck to us I guess

Hey everyone, after hunting around a bit, these are the only updates I found, which don't seem too promising:
then
Good luck to everyone!

Hi everyone! My gradcafe account was glitched out yesterday, but I've gotten my semifinalist notification for my student-study grant to Italy! I can't wait to hear more about your applications as well.
Also @MuchSynergyWowSoIntersec, to answer your question I think that you've applied to the Fulbright Foreign Student Program, whereas I've applied to the Fulbright U.S. Student Program. The U.S. Student Program timeline is different to yours. I'm excited to hear about the progress on your application, though you have quite a while to wait!
@birk3947, where have you applied to?
congrats @ohdunk! I'm a semi-finalist to the Sweden research-study. Did you fill out the spreadsheet?

This is my second year applying for the predoc. Last year I received an honorable mention. And I also recently won an award that would have been super handy before the application deadline.

Hello friends, I also submitted an application for the 2022 program cycle under biosciences. I'm getting pretty antsy, but I guess no news is good news. Application reviewers from my university said I had made a good "novel fit" case for my application, since my research focus is nothing like what NDSEG typically funds.

I'm sure many people are watching this, but for those who haven't here's the spreadsheet:

PS I'm not sure how to edit it, the slack maybe?

Hello everyone, I'm also surprised this thread is so quiet.
This is my second year applying to a Fulbright open research award to Sweden. I was only notified when I did not win in March/April. I imagine semi-finalist letters have already or will go out soon like the poster above said about Switzerland.

I'm just curious, did anyone receive a message saying they had personally identifying information in their application, and if so can you share the type of information you were asked to change?
