Thank you for making this thread. I’m currently waitlisted for the MC/MPA program. I hear that our program tends to hear sooner if we are offered a spot or not given the summer start. Here’s to hoping!

I got very nervous too. But I think that’s part of the process, reflection, and opportunity for growth. Probably not what you want to hear but don’t feel discouraged. They didn’t say no. There’s hope. Take what you learned and use it for next time. Hopefully you get good news! But if you don’t, consider re-applying and write down the areas you want to strengthen!

The pandemic adds a layer of complexity. It’s seems like people on the 2020 WL were moved off the waitlist and later accepted and even those who were initially rejected were placed on the waitlist and some admitted. Don’t lose hope!

Just starting a thread for HKS waitlist this year! I saw the MPP thread but opening this for other programs.

Congratulations to those admitted! I made it as a finalist for a CPL fellowship but was waitlisted for the MC/MPA program. I’m assuming that I didn’t get the fellowship as I was waitlisted. Trying to stay optimistic!
