I didn't apply to UNBC this year, but last year myself and another applicant did not get a rejection notice until May 23rd! In my opinion, informing their applicants of their decision that late is disrespectful, and I decided not to re-apply there. But please let us know if you hear back from UNB.

Does anyone know if UOttawa just started outright stating 'Refused' to applicants this year? The reason I ask is because I got a 'Waiting List' notification in March of 2020, but I heard they put everyone who didn't get accepted on a 'Waiting List' back then. So I assumed it was basically an outright rejection, and I never wound up reapplying. But maybe I was actually close to being accepted? If anyone got 'Refused' in 2020 with a rejection statement, please let me know

Yes, I also heard back at the same time with the same outcome. What was more disappointing than the decision was how long they took to get back to us (it's nearing June!). Nevertheless, best of luck to anyone who got admitted this year.

Yeah they state that they prefer candidates to have finished their degree two years prior to the admission date, so maybe you'll have better luck this year Thanks for your insight either way, I hope things work out for you this time around!

Wow, I suppose Covid really delayed the selection process last year (and possibly this year as well). Just curious, did they tell you why you were not accepted last year and was there a wait list?

Does anyone have any information about UNBC? I applied to their MEd program but haven't heard back yet.
