That's uncalled for on the government's side...I would have expected the government to act faster considering this assist some of the challenges they are experiencing...So the option Anja proposed for you worked eventually.

Thank you in advance, I am trying to plan my life ahead only knowing that my course starts in August.Hello Clarl...we were allowed to choose the best for our case for the 2 available slots...I chose 1600hrs- 1845hrs German time. The other slot comes a little early.

Hello Joym...Yeah we have started the language classes...the second week of our study was Friday....what could be the problem, have tried contacting them regarding your letter of award?

I don't know what is wrong with mine coz I sent the consent to process my medical data on 27/03 but haven't received the insurance certificate. I even contacted DAAD via portal but they haven't responded.

Hello...For PhD applicants who received award letters, has anyone received insurance certificate? I haven't receive mine and due to attend visa appointment and the certificate is required.

I did....I got a message from them today.my language course to start on 31/05 to 30/9. 3 lesson a day 45 mins each, Mon to Fri, 5 tutorials per week. It will be via zoom more info in a month to start date.

It's fine if u can fund ur stay during that period...I also plan to travel earlier coz my supervisor wants us to start the project earlier.

Based on the award letter...German language course starts on 01/06 to 30/09. The entire programme with be online.
