Does anyone know if there's any kind of groupchat/facebook page for admitted students?

I could be wrong but I wonder if they’re waiting to see who commits from the previous rounds of decisions before extending more offers

Have either of you hear of anything about Northwestern's waitlist moving? I got waitlisted mid-march and havent heard anything since

I inquired about my application status on Monday and they responded that they would have all decisions out in the next 10-14 business days ? So I wonder if that means that they might not have the rest of the decisions out until on or after the April 15th deadline that a lot of other universities have

I’ve been accepted into the program and the only contact I’ve had thus far has been from the university itself. I haven’t heard anything from the program - I honestly don’t even know who I could contact in the department if I had questions. I emailed someone in admissions on Friday about talking to a student currently in the program and I’m hoping to get some more insight that way. It’s possible that the program is very new and that’s why there’s not a lot of information but I’ll be honest that the lack of info makes me a little bit nervous about the program

I saw there was a whole bunch of new acceptances on the results page today. If I still haven't heard anything do we think that means rejection?

Update: I got this email today: Thank you for your patience in awaiting a decision. Currently, the waitlist is unchanged. We anticipate that we will know more as it gets closer to the April 15 deadline and we will keep you updated on the status of the waitlist. If seats become available, we will make offers of admission. If the admission committee needs additional information, we will contact you.We will provide you with a waitlist status update on April 7, 2021. Not totally sure how they can give a status update on the 7th because I'm pretty sure that accepted people have until the 15th to decide...

So I've been waitlisted at a IU Bloomington (HCI) and Northwestern (EDI). Tbh though it sort of looks to me like neither of those schools have actually rejected anybody for those programs -- theyve just pushed people they didnt admit onto the waitlist. Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone know anything?
