Yes, there are a few success stories for waitlist category. Finger crossed until January 2022. You might get bumped up by that time - when some people reject their awards.

Rejection for me. Better luck next time. Committee 194. At least the wait/anxiety is over now. I can move forward. External Applicant, not currently enrolled in any PhD program. 2 first author publications, 2 other co-author pubs, 3 conferences. On the other hand, all my education is non-Canadian and my MSc grades are a bunch of B's and a few A/A+. Maybe I will be in a better shape to compete when I complete my 2nd masters degree, in Canada. Congrats to all successful applicants.

Looks like there's just 2 NSERC employees uploading the results. ? Three (3) more days of anxiety for some of us still waiting.

Hey there, My profile: MSc degree in 2018 from a foreign university, 7 decent publications in total (2 first author journal pubs, 2 other journal pubs, 3 international conferences). Quite honestly, I'm not confident about getting it this round so I'm gearing up for the next round, with hopefully another journal publication. Have not started a PhD yet, so I'm an External Applicant - looking to enrol the moment that award comes in. Looks like most applicants here are internal (enrolled in universities). ~ Good luck to everyone - we need it. PS: the wait killing me at this time because I put job search and other plans on hold in anticipation of starting my PhD soon.
