You won't get your scores until June or July though (last year was June 9th, but took place over the course of a week).
There are generally 1-3 people in each committee who make it off the waitlist over the course of the summer until January 2023 (people who leave school, get Vanier, decline the award for one reason or another) and if you're lucky you can figure out *who* the cutoff is from these forums.
Western emailing out a date for grad student award ceremonies, and workshop dates for next years applications today. Safe to say the nerves are here...
I presume higher application numbers from Covid (PDF and Banting both had higher application numbers the last 2 years) and maybe less funding but that's speculation, the stats aren't out yet I don't believe. That was just from seeing people in the forums here and my own experience, I was 41.8% for committee 202 and got waitlisted.
Haven't heard anything re waitlist, but last year people who got waitlisted didn't find out until January (and got back paid if they so chose, which is dope).
Depending on your committee size, last years waitlist thread seemed to suggest the first 4 or 5 people got offered very late (like Dec 2020/Jan 2021) in some committees.
Scores and rankings, uploaded to extranet June 9th. I'm 33/71 in Committee 202 and was waitlisted, it seems like in past years up to 31 in this committee have been offered.
