I just saw that not only did stanford gse's LDT program only have 5 students 2020-21, but 2021-22 also only has 9 students! What are the chances of even getting in at this point? Why have they reduced their usual numbers of around 20?

Hi everyone, last minute question before the submission deadline today! For the section that says, "Have you encountered any personal challenges or obstacles that the admissions committee should take into account as part of your application? If yes, please explain." and allows us to upload a file, what is the purpose of this? I have written a 150 word "diversity statement" that shares challenging factors of my background, such as life experiences, culture, race and ethnicity. The goal would to describe how I would contribute to the diversity (broadly defined) of the entering class Is this useful to upload? Any other suggestions?

Hello everyone, It's only couple weeks away from application deadlines yet (Applying to masters at Harvard and Stanford) I have still to decide on my 3 LORs, since I decided to apply late! My choice is between a professor whom I have not taken a class with for 3 years or a professor whose class I am currently in (it is a year long course and ends in April 2022). Are you allowed to ask a LOR from a prof whose class you have not completed yet and won't know the final grade of? Your insight is much appreciated!!
