This is wack, I got NDSEG but didn't even get HM for GRFP But the deadline to accept the NDSEG offer is April 12th so probably sometime after that?

At least NDSEG is on time, but I really hope CSGF comes out before the NDSEG acceptance deadline on the 12th ?

Petition to start the 2023 GRFP thread now so the results will never come
-
lowkey sure that GRFP is doing this to increase the amount of panic attacks we get and weed out the weak

The link seems to be here: https://ndsegfellowships.smapply.org/prog/2021-2022_ndseg_application/ This looks new, I guess we now have a timeframe for the results huh

Looking back at the last few years' threads, it seems like we'll know the last week of March yikes

I got the same update for 2nd round reviews too. I applied to ARO for high-performance computing if it helps.

Might as well make the thread for this year for some premature stress Did anyone else apply this semester?

Hi, so I'm a senior studying computer engineering, and applying for PhD programs in computer science. I have two recommendation letters already, one from a PI whom I worked with for my entire undergrad career, and another from a well-known professor I worked with this summer. Most schools and fellowships require exactly three letters, so I'm not sure what my choice should be here: I could take a joint recommendation letter from two staff scientists I worked with for the last two years. However, since this was still under my school's lab, I think my PI could cover it in her recommendation letter I could take a recommendation from just one of them, since I worked with one for longer than the other, and they are both leads on a project I'm currently working on I could take a third recommendation letter from a mentor at my software development internship, which I did some impromptu research with. What's the best choice here for a third letter of recommendation? For those that allow more than three, which ones should I include as well?
