  1. I don't think it means anything for Masters students, at least for an MEM. I can't speak to the other degrees. PhD candidates definitely hear back from their PI/advisor, but as an MEM applicant I don't have a PI/advisor to notify me, so I'll hear through email or from checking the portal and seeing it by chance.
  2. When does everyone think YSE results will come out? I'm thinking as soon as next week Friday, the 4th. For the past two years it's come out on the first week of March so let's hope the pattern continues!
  3. hey @prokem given that you're a current student, do you know how many people usually are admitted to YSE off the waitlist? curious bc it just hit me that the YSE class size encompasses all masters programs and not just the MEM, my chances of being 1 in 130 actually reduces down to like 1 of 70 lol
  4. Wow, nice that you got to make that change! I emailed UCSB in early Feb to update something and they said no changes could be made because they're well into the process.
  5. Haven't heard back, but thanks for the list! I'm hopeful that YSE will come out a bit earlier than March 15th, their website says "on or around March 15th", and it's come out before the 15th in previous years!
  6. I got an Admissions Newsletter email from YSE on Feb 3! They just said general stuff, like how decisions are expected to be released mid-March.
  7. Thank you so much, hoping for the best! By any chance do you know what the acceptance rate is at YSE?
  8. You're right about YSE, I just am getting too in my head because the anticipation is getting to me!! I keep thinking about it too much which is so pointless and unhealthy lol, thanks for your response though. It helped soothe my nerves.
  9. For those of you applying to a masters in Env. Management, did you take the GRE? I didn't and I'm wondering if that puts me at a disadvantage.
  10. Hey, I haven't heard back from any schools, I applied to Yale YSE, UCSB's MESM program at Bren, and U Miami Abess Center. YSE said they'd release results before or around March 15th and UCSB said no later than march 25th so I've still got a while to go! Idk about UM. The other forum is much more active and has other people talking so maybe someone there has more info on Columbia!
  11. UCSB Bren Masters in Environmental Data Science results out yesterday for several people!
  12. I haven't heard anything about an interview either, I skimmed through the Env. Management & Policy forums from previous years and it looks like they got the interview around the time applications were due, mid December (edit: for masters)
  13. Does anyone know what the acceptance rate is for the YSE MEM?
  14. I was talking about Masters interviews, not PhD, haven't gotten an interview but I also have no idea if I was meant to or not:) Best of luck to you!
  15. Oh that's so cool! And I'm not sure, I haven't gotten any notice about an interview. I was worried about it because I saw on GradCafe that previous applicants did have an interview and they completed the interview process in December, so I thought I might have done something wrong. If you haven't heard anything either then I think we're good! YSE either got rid of the interview component or we'll get it later on.
  16. Hey everyone! @ryan.nil @MysteriousCong I'm applying to Yale's YSE MEM, UCSB's MESM program at the Bren School, University of Miami's Environment, Culture, & Media (ECM) Program! @MysteriousCong Wow January is so close! I'm applying for a masters so I hear back in March. What programs are you applying to! @ryan.nil Looks like we both applied to YSE! My focus is in environmental communications, how about you?
  17. Long waiting game till decisions come out in March!
  18. Hey ya'll! Submitted my applications for Env. Management programs. How's everyone feeling and what schools did you apply to? I can't wait to hear back already but it's so far in the future
