  1. Hey Shivani, Dont worry for most programs in Biology you dont need MS to join PhD.... Except in Europe, other places (mostly US ) are quite flexible in this requirement.... And first of all, try to generate a small list of universities based on your research interest...Don't just go on the brand name...Look for your interests. Typically Ivy League Schools are a tough nut to crack... try--www.usnews.com, for getting names of various US universities and their respective rankings....However don't select the universities based on the rankings, use them as a starting point....
  2. Also, why don't you write a mail and ask them about it????
  3. I think it is a requirement....And anyways if you score somewhere in the 80-90 percentile bracket, it would be a winner...
  4. Neuroscience courses are highly competitve in US. Try usnews.com and dont apply to the top 10 programs.....They would feature the IVY league schools...But for MS admissions, always try fr 2 ambitious, 4-5 moderate and 3-4 safe schools.... This way, there would be less problems... I suggest you use the above website for reference and visit the top 100 schools in US... Then narrow down your search...With your fees range, the central american universities would be a good bet. Dont apply to california or NY schools.... ATB, Shabbeer.
