  1. oh did they already sent out invitation for Epi this year?
  2. I think it's hopeful in your case since clinical epi is under a different field from EH! Fingers crossed !?
  3. The thread seems so quiet this year..!? I see that some received an invite to an interview for Harvard PHS- EH track, Congratulations! I wonder which specialisations received emails so far, and if I should consider myself rejected if I haven't heard anything back until now? Can anyone kindly share some information in case of an invite? i.e., if it was from a PI or the department, international/domestic, which other schools applied to etc. I asked how the interview process goes, but haven't heard anything back from the office. I applied to Harvard, Columbia, Brown, Yale, UCLA, UC Berkeley, Stanford. All EH or Epi.
  4. wow did you get an invite on a Sunday?
  5. Hi, I am an international student applying to PhD programs in the US, and I noticed that many schools I applied to had a section asking if I already have a funding or a fellowship. I am curious how this works, how can you already have funding if you are just at a stage applying as a PhD student? I am planning to seek scholarships upon acceptance, and most of the scholarships provided in my country also assumes one's admission letters in order to apply.
  6. I also applied to EHS but haven't heard any back. May I ask which other schools you applied to?
  7. I see. So by "strong" letters, they mean "strong" relationships, I suppose. Thanks!
  8. But isn't the premise that everyone requesting wants a "strong" LoR? I am just curious if it would make a difference for the recommenders making a genuine letter. What does a "strong" letter contain?
  9. I often see from the Admission Results, people note, "strong LoR" or "strong SoP." How do you it's "strong?" Especially for LoR, I've seen that it is better to waive the rights to view your LoRs, so how do know what your recommenders wrote about you?
