I have four first-author publications and several second, with multiple conference presentations. My undergrad was dogshit, but my marks in grad school have been pretty immaculate. This is hot bullshit.
Some days, academia can eat a bag of dicks. Fucking sucks, and it's difficult not to take personally.
Depends on your supervisor and program. Check your institution and departments Grad Studies guidance documentation. I fully expect that my department is going to rescind ~$12K/y in funding if I'm lucky enough to get either PGS-D or CGS-D.
When do we start getting updates on committees meeting and the status of our applications once they've been forwarded to the national competition? Or is this just part of the "big wait" before the "big panic" in April? This was my first time applying for PGS/CGS-D
