Got rejected by Virginia and Brown this morning.

I don't even feel sad or disappointed anymore. So far I have collected 7 rejections and 0 acceptance.

Now I realize that I apparently overestimated myself and employed a pretty clumsy strategy for the application. Maybe my time just hasn't come yet. Guess I will have to think about what I should do to give myself a better chance for the next cycle.

Many congratulations to those who already claimed acceptance and hope more fellow political science applicants can hear good news soon!~

I also applied to International Relations at Boston University. But I haven't received anything from them yet. I can only assume that I got rejected since I already got 3 rejection letters!~?

I also applied for Northwestern, Maryland and Michigan. 

So far I haven't heard anything from them. But I have already prepared myself to get rejected by all schools I applied for!~ ? 

BTW, are you from mainland China?

This is one of the universities I think I had a chance of getting in. Now I'm really worried about more rejection coming!~

I emailed Notre Dame asking them if applicants are rejected if they haven't received an email about virtual visiting this week. They said the final decision will be made in mid-February, so those who didn't make it to the finalists may still have the chance to move up to the short list eventually. 

So I will just wait till the very last moment but still get ready to be rejected by all universities I applied for!~ ?

I also received an email from Notre Dame about their timeline. But I really doubt if I can stand a chance given my abysmally low undergraduate GPA!~?

 

I also wanted to apply for UT-Austin but I missed the deadline. Anyway, hope you will get good news pretty soon!~
