    Just got an unofficial offer from Duke, off the waitlist. They said to ask for an extension of a few days from the other program i'm considering until Duke Graduate School sends me an official letter. I've asked for the extension and been granted one. Most likely will accept Duke if the official offer comes. Very happy, but just want the cycle to end now!

    I got invited to the UVa virtual visit. They reached out saying there's a "reasonable chance" I get an offer from them. I'm also in touch with another university where i've been waitlisted, and they've been super helpful with updates. I highly recommend you reach out, it usually helps one way or another (in my experience of 2 schools).

    Just got a rejection as well. Sigh.

    Anyone heard anything? Kinda losing hope, because it doesn't seem like any acceptances were sent out after the 4th.

    They've now clarified in the comments - it was to the JSP, not to Political Science.

    Nope, that's not me. It seems they were notified by phone, on Friday. I really hope they're sending out more acceptances on Monday!

    Great to have others on this thread! Hope we hear good news soon. @pbspoonyes, it does look like we have similar interests!! I've applied to almost the same schools, and also got interviewed at Duke. Haven't heard back from them though, so I'm fearing the worst ?

    There doesn't seem to be a thread on the JSP for Fall 2022, so I thought I'd get us going! I've applied to the Law and Political Theory/Philosophy field. When do you think we should hear back? Usually decisions seem to come out around the first/second week of Feb. Fingers-crossed we hear soon!

    Claiming a UT Austin acceptance (Public Law). Funding and an email from a Professor came soon after. Hoping everyone gets good news soon!

    Hi! I got an email about an interview with Duke. It's seems to be specific to my subfield - Theory. The email says they're interviewing theorists, so I wouldn't be worried if you're in another subfield. Good luck, and I hope all of us hear some good news soon!
