  1. I hope you had a favorable response from Columbia and UC Irvine! I can't wait for the Canadian universities to release results as well.
  2. Any news about current EEB admissions? Did anyone hear anything from Harvard OEB? Not expecting much but I just want to see if there has been any update.
  3. I guess no one cared to share it. Accordingly, hundreds applied but ESPM only has around two dozen slots. This waiting game is really doing me in.
  4. Also, I was informed that ESPM interviews happened recently and admission letters will be released around mid-Feb.
  5. Hey there MysteriousCong, I received the rejection letter a few days after I saw someone posted about the results. It is for EEB. I contacted the PI and he said that he was disappointed with the result. Obviously heaps of applicants have strong applications and they only have limited slots, so it's all good. He alluded to the specific reason of the rejection as well and while I won't share it here, I was happy that it was one that is beyond my control. Like what I said, it feels weird because the rejection letter kinda gave me more motivation.
  6. Let us know what they say. Let's hope for the best!
  7. I haven't heard from Harvard OEB too but I am not expecting too much given that the PI said already that admissions had been very competitive since the pandemic started. I think they will just release rejection letters on a rolling basis.
  8. Hey everyone, I believe ESPM sent out interview invitations early this month. Don't lose hope--people can still get waitlisted. Besides, they have very limited slots, so even if you have a very strong application, it will not always go your way. Besides, admissions are quite unpredictable.
  9. I have been lurking in this thread for quite some time and I thought that it'd be nice to share mine as well. I am an international student applying to 4 US and 2 Canadian universities: Duke University - rejected U Michigan Ann Arbor - rejected I have been invited for an interview in one US university and I am still waiting for the other three. This is my first year to apply and for some reason, getting those rejection emails just got me more excited and relieved. It was a weird feeling, although it helped that I toned my expectations down after going through horrible things during the past few months. This is when I realized that while it is understandable that we fret so much about the application, there is always next year. Rejections are based on the number of slots they have and the documents you presented. Anyway, I am positive in at least 3 out of the 4 remaining applications. Let's do this!
