Officially waitlisted at UCLA. Could be worse I guess!

Hi friends!!! For anyone who is also still waiting on UCLA, I emailed them asking about a projected timeline and received the following response: “The department have started sending out admission decisions in waves, and hope to finish sending letters in around 2-3 weeks.”

Judging by the number of postings compared to recent years it seems like UCLA likely hasn’t sent out all their offers yet. Does anyone know what they’re up to?

Claiming an admit at USC! ? The department sent me an email and told me the official offer will come in a couple days. To those who are still waiting for an admit, don’t lose hope!! Sending good vibes!!

That was just because the USC application said to upload official transcripts and one of mine was unofficial. They said they needed an official transcript to review my application. No reason to assume rejection yet! Don’t lose hope!

I got that too. I hope it means we are at least being seriously considered!

I wonder if maybe it’s not that people are lying about the January admits, but that not everyone who posts on the main page frequents the forums. To me that makes more sense than people going on and lying every year ?
