go to UIUC, big names matter when you're trying to get a job at the end.

anyone here looking for roommates? I am starting next fall at UBC and would like to room with someone since living alone is ridiculously expensive off- and on-campus.

Congrats, I think UBC has a stronger CS department, and the weather is MUCH better in Vancouver. I saw some ranking of the CS departments in Canada and I think the only university that beats UBC, when it comes to research, is U of Toronto.
