Is there a specific date grad schools need to give answers before like undergrad? A know about the April 15th resolution, but that’s for us giving our answers back (and not every school is a part of it). Also that is so wildly disrespectful to you @MischiefNotManaged I would absolutely say something.

Just got my Hunter rejection a few minutes ago too. I know it’s still a form letter, but I really do appreciate that Christine takes the time to personalize the rejection letters somewhat. It makes it sting less. Still nothing from Columbia…

I really appreciate that, thank you! Still (perhaps illogically) keeping my fingers crossed for Columbia since I felt good about that interview. This does seem to support the behind on application review/releasing results in waves theory. Hoping your yes is on the way soon!

I've put on my tinfoil hat: since they moved the Fall 2024 deadline back to January 15th on their website, maybe that's a sign it's taking them longer than expected to get through applications?

I have heard nothing. In results there's record of 1 no, 0 yeses, 0 interviews, and 0 waitlists. It seems, from the 2020 section of this forum, that last cycle BU had a *very* large official waitlist. At this point my (fully unverified, anxiety-spiral-induced) theory is that they're releasing results on an unofficial waitlist system (which, at least according to Draft, seems to be a thing)/sending results in waves/whatever you want to call it. Or I'm totally wrong and all offers are out and there's just a delay in certain rejections. Who knows!

Did you end up getting a response to your email? Like half this thread I've also heard nothing from Hunter, Brooklyn, & BU and nothing since the interview from Columbia. Sending everyone strength!

They only gave me $15k in merit aid, the rest of the "aid" was loans, which is a non-starter, so I'm also curious if anyone has advice on negotiating for more $$
