I would have been surprised if something like this didn't get funded. I'm super bummed about my rejection. Certainly will be moving out of Canada after my PhD there's absolutely nothing here for applied research although this application does give some hope.

Should the status show as "Recieved" on the portal through which we submitted our application? I got email from SGS, UofT confirming that my application was sent to National level. Wondering why I didn't get the email.

Don't loose hope. It all depends on the application and LORs.

I think NSERC CGS-M awards have been announced 3-4 days ago.

I checked mine and it says the same... modified on March 24
