update: followed up with them and they said results will be emailed at the end of this week

emailed them and they said they are still in review, will be rolling results out "in the next week or so"

Not awarded: E/E, VG/VG, E/E Aerospace Engineering. Multiple publications, extremely strong letters, reviews are glowing saying "This project deserves funding from NSF." I understand that it's competitive and I know all those awarded/HM earned it but it's frustrating as I'm going to reapply next year without any real improvements to make and work on based on reviewer comments. Again, super happy for all of you that were awarded - well deserved!

They're sending them manually so it doesn't really matter but it was around 7pm eastern.

lol someone should call NSF and be like "so when is the 2021 list going to be put back up, I need to verify a recipient last year" edit: asking for a friend ofc

Just called them. She said acceptance emails are being sent out starting now. They have an "alternates" list and rejection list to send out as well. Seems they are going out mixed. I also asked about the Dod 2nd Round Reviews status update and she said she knows nothing about that because they never sent any updates out.

Are we not receiving rejection emails then? I have an earlier correspondence with NDSEG that says they will let everyone know whether they got it, got honorable mention, or rejected. Not sure if that has changed tho...

my 2nd round status was never updated and still says "subject matter experts panel review" so if i could just get my rejection and be done with this anxiety thatd be great

id rather not know and just check my inbox randomly and see the email i say that as i sit here constantly refreshing my email so welp

In 2019 they said results would be posted "after April 9th" and then posted them on the 9th itself. The 2018 list also disappeared for the 2019 students waiting for the results. NSF is just toying with us and there is nothing we can do about it

It's also curious that the 2021 list has still been taken down after it seemed to disappear last week. Also I imagine the ABSOLUTE worst case is April 8 as it was around then in 2019 and still gives students a chance to negotiate/consider before the April 15 deadline. #6pages
