Washington works on a trimester or quarter schedule and this is like, the beginning of the spring semester for them. my friends said they didn't get a rejection from them until VERY late in previous years. they never replied to any of my emails. i gave up on them. i accepted UGA's offer and i'm super happy about it!! who else has accepted? where we goin?

I'm also just gonna assume "no" at this point and start moving forward with the one acceptance I have...I was hoping to consider my alma mater but looks like that's out of the cards

I was admitted to UGA without an interview or even speaking to them at any point lmfao. my MA was the same way.

nothing from tufts, but i also had a campus visit with them prior to the deadline so even if they were considering me i'm not sure they would want an interview.

just got an acceptance from Georgia. I got that application in right at the deadline (1/15) and didn't have an interview. thank you god all i needed was one yes 😭 still waiting to hear back from everyone else and I'm submitting my UW app tomorrow!

i'm applying to: Tufts (i think i'm already out) Northwestern interdisciplinary Georgia Kansas Washington if anyone is applying to Kansas or Buffalo, hmu. happy to share experiences. especially hmu RE Buffalo. there are things you should know lol.

oh FELT. i went and got my tarot done at the beginning of fall semester and the lovely reader (unprompted) told me how to construct an offering totem for my top choice program. i'm not a particularly spiritual person (the tarot was mostly just for fun) but you bet your ass i've got that silly totem built to exact specifications and i'm not TOUCHING it until the decisions come out lmfao.

right with you there, buddy. i'm applying to 6 and i have 4 left in jan/feb, and i also really never want to do this again lmfao. writing a thesis and applying to phds at the same time is a special kind of hell. but great news, we'll never be in this situation again!!

I literally JUST submitted my app for MA/PhD Theatre and Performance Studies at UBuffalo!! I've been stopping and starting my apps since 2021 and this is the first time I've actually finished applying. Screaming, crying, throwing up, obsessively checking my email, etc
